Lewin Karua
Group Chief Actuary
Lewin Karua is responsible for various Reserving, Pricing and Capital Management Initiatives across the Group.
With over 12 years’ experience in the insurance industry, lewin previously held actuarial supervisory and management positions at reputable insurance firms before joining Continental Re in 2019 as head of actuarial for the Nairobi subsidiary.
Lewin is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Techniques from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
