Bashir Akinsiku
Chief Underwriting Officer – Facultative
Bashir specializes in risk analysis and underwriting of special risks, including Oil & Gas, Marine, and Aviation, and coordinates training programs. With over fifteen years of experience, Bashir provides reinsurance solutions for ceding companies across Africa and is involved in underwriting both Treaty and Facultative reinsurance.
Bashir holds a B.Sc. in Pure & Applied Chemistry from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), a member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, and an alumnus of the Lagos Business School (Senior Management Program-67).
