Steve Mbogo reports from Continental Re’s CEO summit in South Africa, in which senior figures from the insurance industry debated the issue and outlined the risks poor media coverage can pose to their businesses.

Media in Africa has not given the insurance industry adequate support, a factor that is slowing down the industry’s contribution to the rise of Africa’s social, economic and political status, risk managers say.
